The Client
Compass Associates are extremely proud to be working with a specialist cancer centre, located in the heart of Central London, who are dedicated to providing the most advanced cancer care. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC, they are recognised for their personalised care, delivered at the highest standard. At present, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chemotherapy Nurse to join their Oncology Day Unit.
The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of their highly specialised Cancer Service team to provide effective, evidence-based and patient focused care.
This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which has a highly desirable shift pattern which will be worked 4 shifts per week between Monday to Friday. The unit will be open between the hours or 8am-7pm, and there are no night or weekend requirements.
We are looking for a professional, dynamic and patient-focused individual. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature is key in this role, in order to aid and support the treatment and recovery of patients. In order to be successful with this opportunity, you will need to be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMC registration. You will also need to be experienced in administering Chemotherapy with a recognised chemotherapy course and SACT passport.
