Summary
This position will leads in-depth data analysis to track, improve and inform channel performance, audience engagement and holistic marketing/communications initiatives for APTA. This includes using and synthesizing data from multiple sources (third-party, social, web, CRM) to guide insights, trends, predictive modeling, journey mapping and audience segmentation.
Develops essential metrics, reports and dashboards, and synthesizes data for cross-functional teams to optimize and inform key strategies. Informs best-in-class member-centric experiences across APTA’s digital channel ecosystem, and supports dynamic content and testing opportunities.
Ensuring adherence to Association policies and procedures, coaching and supporting engagement and participation in the workplace. Defines and supports opportunities for continuous quality improvement in department activities.  Effective champion of the Association vision, mission, and brand.
Essential Functions

Designs, develops and implements strategic measurement plans and analytic projects, ensuring excellence
Leverages analytic tools and data sources to develop actionable insights around paid, social media, web, mobile and CRM/email that enhance APTA’s marketing, communications, media performance and digital optimization
Produces ad hoc, monthly, quarterly or end of year analysis and reporting; creates informative and visual dashboards to deliver insightful presentations by improving engagement across all member touchpoints
Serves as the in-house digital and marketing analytics expert and translates data to educate internal stakeholders of key insights through development and presentation of measurement plans and reporting.
Elevates APTA’s understanding of the member experience and journey mapping by leveraging APTA and third party data sources to develop insights to be shared across teams
Supports audience insights, including segmentation, engagement, growth and targeting. In collaboration with media planning teams, informs marketing and communications strategies to grow reach and conversion
Collaborates with internal departments and external agency partners to operationalize the data flows and establish reporting structures needed
Manages APTA’s reporting requests by understanding KPIs, reporting outputs, analyzing results and making recommendations
Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in digital and marketing analytics and provide thought leadership to support APTA’s digital marketing strategy
Partners with IT around data visualization and dashboard creation, using tools such as Tableau
Provides strategic insight, counsel, data and intelligence to department and unit leaders and executive leadership as appropriate on best practices through briefings, reports and presentations
Contributes to quality assurance and continuous quality/performance improvement in department activities, including supporting department and unit leaders in annual assessments of respective activities described above
Supports the Member Experience team in the implementation of the Association’s programs, priorities, and projects

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
5-7 years of experience in marketing and digital analytics
Deep familiarity with a variety of digital marketing channels and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, CRM and automation tools, data visualization (tableau), social publishing and 3rd party data
Analytical and data visualization skills creating dashboards and reports
Familiarity with CX and journey mapping a plus
Ability to report on complex data and information
Project management skills
Presentation skills –virtual and public

Travel Requirements
Up to 10% – local, National
