About Us:

Operating at our state-of-the-art facility based in Bromborough, Teledyne CML Composites forms part of Teledyne Aerospace and Defense Electronics UK. We focus on the manufacture and supply of carbon fibre components to the aerospace industry.

With year on year growth we are looking to recruit additional team members to work in our Cleanroom.

Due to the strength of our products and order book, we have enjoyed continued growth of 35% during 2020-2022. Because of this we have plans to expand our current 60,000 sq ft facility with the addition of additional 100,000 sq ft facility nearby.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

About You:

A real opportunity to join a company long term who are investing in their people through direct 1-2-1 training and development into the techniques of Composite Lamination.

No previous experience required as full training is provided for the mutual benefit of the applicant and the business in their development.

Job Purpose:

As the successful applicant you will be supporting the Cleanroom ensuring the correct lay-up of pre-impregnated glass/carbon into mould tools. Working within an established team dexterititus and detailed approach is essential.

You will report to the Composite Manufacturing Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the manufacture of Composite Aerospace parts within the Cleanroom, alongside skilled and experienced operators that will assist in your development.
  • Complying to all Health & Safety measures within the Cleanroom and the wider organisation.
  • Work towards completion of all jobs within the specified time scales to enable progress through salary banding.
  • Develop layup methodologies to enable greater flexibility across all Cleanroom products.
  • Ensuring cleanliness, organisation and maintenance of own work area and wider Cleanroom area.

Qualifications

Training & Experience Requirements:

  • Manufacturing experience is desirable but not a requirement.
