Content & Marketing Coordinator

Hybrid – Alexandria, VA, The Content and Marketing Coordinator provides content development, from initial research and planning to content creation, optimization, and analysis. Coordinates and assists with strategy for all AMC Institute (AMCI) programs and services, including events.

Content Development and Marketing:

Keep abreast of industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies, and implement innovative ideas to keep content fresh and appealing.
Source compelling blog posts, articles, social media updates, AMC websites, AMC companies and other marketing materials, and ensure content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the brand voice.
Support the work of AMCI’s digital marketing firm by attending weekly meetings for input and follow up
Provide content support for various marketing channels and campaigns.
Develop and maintain a yearly content calendar outlining the topics, themes, and formats for upcoming marketing campaigns, and collaborate with the team to align content with overall strategy.
Conduct research on industry trends, target audience behavior, members, and identify key market challenges and opportunities to drive content development.
Support and provide analysis for all AMCI surveys.
Work with all departments to maintain website and ensure the site is up to date, on brand, and functioning correctly.
Monitor content performance, including website and social media traffic of communication platforms using analytics tools.
Analyze user engagement data and adjust content accordingly.

Oversee the fulfillment of industry partner marketing assets including the development of production schedules, asset coordination, tracking campaign results and reporting.
Build, manage and deploy internal & external email marketing campaigns using Member Clicks and MailChimp and track campaign analytics.
Support for newly implemented growth opportunities.

Membership Services:

Work closely with the membership department to support the RFP’s and RFI’s submission process.
Support the membership department by coordinating content, production, and campaign tracking results for the 2x per month e-newsletter.
Maintain talent center.

Meetings & Education:

Provide support for AMCI’s programs to include accreditation, certification, and digital badges.

Work closely with the events department to support in organizing AMCI events such as Annual Meeting, AMCs Engaged and Board of Directors Meetings.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of customer service experience in a professional setting.
Ability to work early mornings/evenings/weekends occasionally.
Reliability and promptness.
Superior organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
Attention to accuracy and detail.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Capable of setting goals, creating timelines and meeting goals and deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Association, member-oriented or non-profit experience preferred.
Ability to travel as needed (up to two-three times per year).
Strong technical skills and experience designing and maintaining websites.
