Creates multiple forms of online and print content, such as web copy, College Viewbooks, newsletters, articles, and blogs, to increase brand awareness, generate interest and inbound traffic for the college. Works with various college departments on creating marketing content.

As a key member of our marketing team, you’ll own the brand voice and storytelling across various channels, including, but not limited to, web, blogs, newsletters, brochures and ads. Job Responsibilities
Write, edit, and research content for website, blogs, articles, advertorials, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
Conduct research and interviews with students and alumni to convey the impact of the college on their lives and with faculty to demonstrate their positive impact on students. Transform these stories into compelling and engaging marketing content.
Develop marketing messages for various target audiences.
Work with multiple departments on website page changes. Review requests and edit content as needed.
Work closely with web team to review and implement web copy changes.
Optimize new and existing web content for SEO.
Perform regular website content audits to ensure content is current and matches website style guide.
Proofread materials developed by college departments, using A.P. Stylebook and College Editorial Style Guide. Edit and improve content as needed.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or English is required.
Qualifications
Three years’ experience in marketing communications. Experience creating content across the marketing funnel.
