Nationwide, What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health Distribution Marketing is focused on growing market share by commercializing the Distribution value proposition and product positioning, while leading commercial engagement with sales, customers, and industry and trade associations.  This is accomplished  through customer needs identification, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, and branding to drive customer loyalty, sales growth, and improved profitability. Job Summary The Director of U.S. Medical Distribution Marketing leads the national marketing strategy and determines the marketing initiatives to maximize market penetration.  Responsibilities Develop the annual marketing plan, strategies, and implementation of applicable initiatives and events for the US Distribution market.

Deliver on the top and bottom-line financial commitments for the US Medical Products Distribution (USMPD) business.  Lead commercial engagement with sales, customers, and industry and trade associations. Develop partnerships with broader Cardinal Health product marketing and functional teams in support of the objectives identified by the Cardinal Health USMPD business. Travel with field sales to provide support and help defend and grow business with key customers.

Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to create product pricing promotions and approve new processes and promotions. Develop and conduct product presentations, using a variety of mediums, to position the sales force for success. Advance, maintain, and implement product training, support programs and sales tools for the selling organization and channel as they apply to the product line.

Drive promotional activity through Marketing Communications to sales and channel to meet overall objectives. Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and strategic partners. Work with Strategic Marketing to identify new product, program or service growth opportunities and preparing business plans to gain internal support and resources.

Participate in 3rd party and Cardinal Health conferences and congresses and delivers Cardinal messaging and interacts with key customers and top opinion leaders. Manage employees and develops talent, directs hiring, and determines promotions. Qualifications Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in downstream commercial product management marketing.

Healthcare distribution/supply chain industry experience highly preferred. 3+ years of people management experience preferred, along with a passion and proven success developing talent. Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L. General Manager mindset to run the day-to-day distribution business.

Experience navigating within a matrixed environment. Ability to travel 25% domestically.
