, A part of the CETE Family Engagement Team at OSU, the Marketing Operations Specialist develops communications aligned with products developed by the team, following set university and team procedures, policies, and mission. The position contributes to maintaining and continuously improving the family engagement projects website. The position builds community awareness about family engagement through social media, writing and posting regularly for various stakeholder groups in Ohio, nationwide, and internationally. The position leads the teams effort to ensure resources are accessible and applicable to families of color, linguistically diverse families, low-income families, kinship families, military families, immigrant and refugee families and others (and those educators and organizations who serve them) who face significant barriers to accessing support for engagement in their childs education. The position contributes to the development of audio and video recordings for outreach and knowledge dissemination. In addition, the position contributes to the development of digital or print resources such as posters, brochures, and electronic media to advance the work, outreach, and public awareness of the CETE family engagement projects. The position will coordinate with graphic designers and other print/media assets within the university to ensure high quality products. The position also supports administrative tasks for translational research projects, including recruitment of participants, maintaining of records, maintaining a cross-project calendar of events, and assisting with meeting materials preparation, travel booking, and expense reporting, fiscal transactions, and other general duties as assigned. Liaises with IT staff, communications personnel, faculty, staff, and graduate students. Some travel to locations within Ohio to provide meeting support and data collection as needed. Required Experience: (1-3 Years) Experience developing communications and marketing for an organization or business. (1-3 Years) Creating and sharing content on a website or social media/outreach platform. Excellent writing and communication skills are required. Must be adaptable and have demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience with WordPress for a website. Experience with survey applications such as Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, or Google Forms. Experience with MailChimp or other email marketing solutions. Experience with Microsoft Excel data files. Supports the CETE Family Engagement team with fiscal operations including processing invoices, arranging for, and paying stipends to participants, booking travel, and supporting travel expenditure reporting for team members, expense reporting, ordering supplies, and other administrative supports as assigned.
