DV Lottery 2024 Status Check. All candidates of the 2023/2024 American DV lottery from all countries should remain connected for all updates.

The U.S. Department of e-Diversity Visa Applicant Status should Check for DV-2023/2024. Application available beginning May 07, 2022. The DV-2023 Applicant Status Check remains open until September 2022.

The DV lottery result check is free. You simply need to connect to the Internet, through a smartphone, mobile phone, tablet or PC.

How to check the DV lottery 2023/2024 status?

The only way to find out whether you were lucky is to use the electronic Entrant Status Check at www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC. Entries to the DV Lottery are accepted each autumn (usually for about a month from October to November, but check the DV Lottery website to make sure).

You will also need:

• The confirmation number that was given to you when you registered. (a number like 2022XXXXXXXXXXXX)
• Your last name (the one provided at the time of registration)
• Your date of birth (the one provided at the time of registration)

Follow the steps below to check your status:

Go to the American lottery website by clicking here.
You will come to a page that looks like this

2. Click the Check Status button on the page that appears

You will arrive on another page that looks like this one

3. Click the Continue button on the page that appears

You will be in front of a DV Lottery result verification form, Enter

• Your confirmation number (Lost it? Click here for a solution)
• Your last name
• Your date of birth
• Copy the captcha number in the image that appears to prove that you are not a robot.
• Click on the “Submit” button

Once validated, you will see one of these two messages or something similar:

CANDIDATE NOT SELECTED: If you are not selected

CANDIDATE SELECTED: If you are selected. You should therefore write down and keep your Case Number (a number similar to this: 2022AF0000012345) for the rest of the process.

If you haven’t been selected yet, don’t lose hope, you can still register for the next Dv lottery session which will probably be available in October 2022 to try your luck again.
